The American Medical Association's annual Research Challenge is the largest virtual medical research competition in the world. 700 healthcare students and professionals submit research projects to be scored for a chance to win a $10,000 grand prize.
I joined the team as a consultant and provided expertise in web content & copy, communications planning, project management, database management, and customer service among other areas. My contributions helped improve event statistics greatly from 2022, with more viewership and guest interaction than ever before. At the end of the 3-day event, I calculated the weighted averages of hundreds of judge scores to select the five semifinalists moving on to the grand prize round in February.
